It is my understanding that this form of vitamin K helps transport calcium from the bloodstream to the bones. I started using it 7 years ago after learning that my aortic valve was becoming calcified. It was already in the moderate to severe range and took 6 years to worsen, rather than the expected 1or 2 years. I can only guess that K helped. I would recommend trying it at least as a preventive.

Haven't taken any of the supplement yet. I am still working on the powdered form that I bought earlier. I am pleased that it is now available in capsules. Measuring out dose is time consuming and often messy. Even in capsules, the supplement is cheaper than my previous source. I expect to be satisfied.
